Conceptual and hands-on skills plus your artistic style — they’re all needed to help launch your career as a graphic designer.

Join the revolution that is redefining our visual world. Through the Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Visual Communications with a Graphic Design Emphasis, you can prepare for an entry to mid-level position as a graphic design professional. As one of the members of the new wave of graphic designers creating content for the expanding field of visual media, you can one day influence advertising agencies, design studios, corporate art departments, and newspaper or magazine publishers. The Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Visual Communication with a graphic design emphasis is designed to hone your graphic design edge and define your individual style. Development of basic artistic skills comes first followed with conceptual abilities and technical skills.

You'll have an opportunity to employ all of these in hands-on projects where you'll transform ideas into solutions to solve complex design problems. The program's General Education component enables graduates the opportunity to be well-rounded and possess the human relations and problem solving skills sought by today's employers.
