Patricia L. Walsh, a sixth quarter Radio Broadcasting student at Brown College was one of ten winners of an engineering scholarship from the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation.

This is a particularly notable achievement given the stiff competition for this scholarship. The program will provide participating students exposure in the broadcast engineering field by attending NAB2007 in Las Vegas. The NABEF Broadcast Technology and Engineering Internship Program is designed to reinforce the broadcast industry's diversity efforts by increasing the number of women and people of color entering the broadcast engineering field.
